Manjushree Oak is a talented singer blessed with a melodious voice. Cultivating her childhood passion for music, Manjushree combined talent and practice to become a vocalist. The dynamic young nightingale, who has sung in hundreds of shows alongside O. P. Nayyar, Khayyamji, Kalyanji-Anandji, and many other leading music directors & singers, is known for her sweet, mellifluous voice, clear diction, and emotionally appealing renditions. She has received guidance from her father, the late Shri Vasant Oak, as well as Padmashree Pt. Hridaynath Mangeshkar and many other music directors who brought out the best in her. Manjushree has emerged as a versatile singer who performs equally well across diverse musical genres. From film music to folk songs, from ghazals to sufi numbers, she presents an assortment of songs with effortless ease.

Holding a Master’s degree in Indian Classical Music, Manjushree is also a graded artist of All India Radio and features in various AIR and TV programs regularly. She has rendered Marathi duets in the Shadja Gandhar program of ETV Marathi and solo songs in the Soor-taal program of Zee TV Marathi, as well as in the Saptasoor program of SAAM TV Marathi. She has also earned experience working as an announcer at AIR, Pune.

Manjushree Oak is a gifted, committed, and versatile singer who mesmerizes the audience with her sugar-sweet, mellifluous, and pure voice. Elegantly, Manjushree manages to combine passion and practice to take her performances to unprecedented levels of perfection. Besides being an excellent exponent of Indian Classical Music, Manjushree holds a Master of Arts (MA) degree in music with special proficiency. Blessed with an amazing musical legacy, Manjushree is also a disciple of the respected Padmashree Pandit Hridaynath Mangeshkar.

Manjushree is the only Marathi Indian singer to make a place of honor in the esteemed Guinness Book of World Records. The year 2019 was declared as “The Year of Indigenous Languages” by the United Nations. Manjushree seized this opportunity to place the glory of Indian languages before the world. She created a world record by performing “Amrutwani”, a program with 121 songs in Indian languages, for 13 hours nonstop in Pune to a full house. It is indeed important to note that Manjushree is the only Marathi Indian singer to have accomplished this impossible task!!

To her credit, Manjushree also has the honor of creating two world records each for the India Book of Records and the Asia Book of Records in 2017 and 2018, respectively. Along with this, her entry into the Guinness Book of World Records takes the count of her international record creations to an impressive five great achievements! She is the only Marathi Indian singer to complete this feat across 28 countries through the continent of Asia. Apart from this, Manjushree is a graded artist of All India Radio and regularly appears on many television shows.

Effortlessly traversing across a wide spectrum of musical styles, Manjushree has spread musical happiness and prosperity to people far and wide in India and abroad. She has performed abroad several times, giving Ghazal concerts as well as Hindi-Marathi musical concerts.

A Legacy of Giving Back

Deeply motivated by a spirit of community service, Manjushree, under her banner Shri Yashlaxmi Arrt , donates part of the proceeds from her shows to social causes. She is also committed to the crucial cause of water resource management and its optimal use to prevent wastage. This includes organizing rallies, road shows, and publishing and distributing brochures and souvenirs to raise awareness about water conservation. Additionally, she holds drawing competitions in schools and colleges to promote water conservation awareness.
